PokeKon Fest is Coming to Fort Myers
11SHARESPokeKon Fest is coming to Fort Myers on Saturday, December 27th. That’s the weekend right after Christmas, which works out perfectly since most people have the day off.
They’ve booked the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel at Bell Tower Shops for the day, running from 10am to 5pm. Parking is free there. Tickets are $20, and kids under 11 get in for free, so it’s affordable if you’re bringing the family.
There will be exhibitors with Pokemon, candy, magazines, toys, video games (including retro stuff), TCG cards, original artwork and sketches, cosplay gear, apparel, jewelry, and local artists showing their work. Panels will be running throughout the day too.
Jay Goede is coming—he did the original voice of Mewtwo. PikaBelleChu will be there as well, along with other people from the industry. There’s a cosplay contest at 4pm that’s free to enter. You just sign up when you get there, whether you’ve got an elaborate costume or something simple.
The DoubleTree is right off Highway 41, so it’s easy to get to, and it’s only about 11 miles from the airport if you’re coming from out of town. Whether you’re into the cards, the games, collecting, or just hanging out with other fans, there’s going to be a lot happening.
December 27th at the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel at Bell Tower Shops, 13051 Bell Tower Drive in Fort Myers. Doors open at 10am.
