Ram V, Evan Cagle, and Anand Radhakrishnan launch Deicidium, a nine-volume sci-fi graphic novel series from Image Comics. First volume Deicidium: Omens releases October 2026. The story features ancient gods awakening inside ordinary people in a future where corporations control engineered religions. Brett Bean’s D’orc keeps selling out. Issue #2 sold out at the distributor level and Image Comics is rushing it back to print for March 25th. Issue #1 is also getting a third printing on March 18th. The series follows a half dwarf, half orc orphan who’s fated to end the world according to prophecy. Armed with a wisecracking enchanted shield and Ghost-chicken-with-its-head-cutoff, D’orc stumbles into Sunderaine’s never-ending war.
Doug Wagner and Daniel Hillyard’s Narco #1 sold out at the distributor level and Image Comics is fast-tracking a second printing for April 1st. The reprint features a new cover by Hillyard that pays homage to the Scream movie poster. The thriller follows Marcus Wesphal, a narcoleptic who witnesses the girl next door’s murder and wakes to find himself the prime suspect. He has one shot to clear his name before blacking out again. Issue #2 drops April 15th, issue #3 on May 20th.
Jason Latour’s short comics work is getting collected into Super Ego: The Short Comics of Jason Latour, hitting shelves May 6th, 2026 from Image Comics. Latour co-created Spider-Gwen for Marvel and Southern Bastards with Jason Aaron. This collection pulls together his solo work that blends satire, superheroes, and slice-of-life storytelling. The trade paperback drops at comic shops on May 6th and hits bookstores on June 2nd. Digital versions available on Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play, and Omnibus.
