Ongaku Overdrive, based out of Orlando, Florida, was founded in 2013 to bring video game bands, nerdcore hip hop, chiptune, and geek rock, otherwise known as “nerd music,” to an audience of fans passionate about video games and anime.
As a response to current events and an inability to safely and responsibly host live events, Ongaku Overdrive will be hosting monthly online concerts featuring the kind VGM, nerdcore, and chiptune acts they would usually bring to Orlando, Florida.
